Video captured the moment a driver of a Mercedes SUV crashed through the window of a gym in California, knocking a man off of a treadmill.

Samuel Kiwasz was at Anytime Fitness in Culver City on March 29 when the vehicle burst through the window where he was working out.

Kiwasz flew back into a door, which opened as he hit it,  possibly saving his life.

'It's a miracle that I'm alive,' Kiwasz told KTTV.

The female driver got out of the vehicle to check on Kiwasz, and then tried to get back in but was stopped by an off-duty police officer.

Kiwasz described the moment the vehicle smashed through the floor-to-ceiling glass window, positioned in front of the treadmill he was using.

'All of a sudden there was this loud crash and the glass came flying and I got hit,' he said.

'I got shoved back and I went flying and rolled to the side so I wouldn't get crushed.'
