People are tweeting about how January is lasting FOREVER
With the excitement of the holiday season now nothing more than a distant memory, the month of January can often feel as though it drags out - particularly, it would seem, where 2018 is involved.
This year, the month of January spans across five Mondays, causing many people to feel as though it has been particularly long - and full of less than happy days, with dozens taking to Twitter to vent their woe over the seemingly neverending month.
In recent weeks, Twitter has been flooded with hilarious posts from frustrated people capturing their feelings in witty memes that perfectly illustrate their displeasure at all of the more negative aspects of the month.

Indeed, it seems this month has left a lot of people feeling like they're Bill Murray in the movie Groundhog Day, when he famously becomes stuck in a time warp and is force to repeat the same day over and over again.
Some of the most hilarious tweets from people focused on the fact that they have now had to endure their fifth Monday of the month, while others expressed how frustrating it is that they still haven't gotten paid.
One user sarcastically wrote, 'Hello and welcome to the fifth Monday of January,' which received almost 2,000 retweets and over 5,000 likes.
However, while many people are joking that this month feels extra long, April, July, October and December also have five Mondays this year, something which may come as something of a shock to the more irate Twitter users.
Another shared a photo of a man crying, writing, 'This year will end while we still in January.'
